Hello my name  Conrad Bejarano, Founder of The Ballroom Foundation

 

Unknowingly became instrumental in creating a culture and community in Austin Texas, which influenced so many people from all walks of Life for over four decades, while I was conducting business with i Luv Video, Spider House Cafe, Ballroom event Space, and I Luv Vintage. When they all closed during covid, I then really understood the importance of what culture is to the people and its community it serves.

 

My mission is providing a space from the people, to have the freedom to express their creative spirit, which is inside their hearts and souls in art, music, theater, comedy, dance etc.. Giving inspiration to others in a real life setting, while expressing their own creativity without judgement, or censorship 

 

Having an outlet and resource for people at the ground floor, without the typical bureaucracy which prevents so many talent people to express themselves to the public. Too often what is in our mind does not also translate in a visual or audio perspective, unless giving to a real life audience, so one can improve on what we wish to express to others.

 

By providing a venue that is open to the creativity of the people, in a safe environment, without guidelines nor reliance on alcohol sales, which typically can hinder a venue in providing a space.

 

 Our goal and mission is bringing back the Heart and Soul to the City, and its Vitality
